COMING MAY 2023

  Spirit Chasers Paranormal and the Connecticut Paranormal Research Team are happy to announce Para-Expo 2023. We are very excited about this event, two days of speakers and vendors plus Friday night ghost hunt onboard the ship.

  This event is taking place onboard the U.S.S.Salem in Quincy Ma. and is being held as a fundraiser for the Salem with all proceeds to go to United States Shipbuilding Museum for the continued upkeep of this piece of naval history.

  The Salem is part of the United States Navy Shipbuilding Museum, she is the only heavy cruiser left in existence. After serving in the Mediterranean where she was known as the Pride of the Sixth Fleet during the post-WWII years the Salem now serves as part of the United States Naval Shipbuilding Museum in Quincy Ma. Though she never saw action she saw her share of death and sadness. In 1953 the Salem responded to the Ionian Islands of Greece where she was used as a makeshift hospital for the victims of a devastating earthquake. Many people died on board the ship as a result. The souls of some of those earthquake victims still roam the passageways of this mighty ship. The Salem is known as one of the most haunted places in New England.
